Location - Hertford/London/Manchester/Remote

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan relevant PR strategies and campaigns for Smyle 
  • Write and edit press releases / thought leadership pieces that align to Smyle strategic priorities, to targeted industry / business / national media
  • Build strong relationships with industry media to generate PR opportunities; respond to content requests and answer enquiries
  • Secure Smyle speakership/presence opportunities at promotional industry events / talks such as conferences / podcasts / awards judging etc
  • Monitor the media for trends and potential new PR opportunities
  • Write and edit Smyle case studies, articles / blogs, award entries, decks, creds
  • Assist with social media / ad creation and management  
  • Copywriting for client pitches / projects as necessary

About You

  • You’ll be incredibly organised, task and detail-driven with a positive attitude and desire to succeed within a fast-paced, dynamic and creative team
  • Project management skills will be key as you will be required to manage multiple projects at any one time
  • You will take the lead on designing and executing effective PR strategies  
  • You’ll have a strong network of B2B, B2C, national business and trade media contacts 
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills and superb writing skills 
  • You’ll be an avid consumer of news, culture, trends and what’s going on in the creative industries
  • You have a great understanding of social media
